Ben’s Lip Butter was created for a very special horse, when his rider wanted to make an all natural alternative to Vaseline and petroleum products for moisturizing the corners of his mouth. She created a simple formula of organic natural whole food ingredients melted together on her kitchen stove.

We found that this lip butter also encouraged a soft contact with the bit which improved the communication between horse and rider. Knowing this was healthy both for the skin at the corners of Ben’s mouth and the relationship between horse and rider, we began sharing Ben’s Lip Butter with friends.

Amazingly, riders started using it on their own lips! It is equally moisturizing and nourishing for horses and people.
